Why settle for anything else when it comes to Lamella Settlers?
HYCO™ is defined as a counter current Lamella Sedimentation system. The incoming water rises upwards, in enclosed lamella cells, while solids settle on the plates and slide down towards the sludge zone.
With individual, dual-sided inlet orifices and outlet V-notches for every lamella cell a hydraulically controlled environment is provided, eliminating the risk of short-circuiting influent with settling sludge. The maximum use of the sedimentation area ensures high rate efficiency in separation.
Typically, HYCO™ operates with a hydraulic load of 15-20 m/h of the tank area, allowing huge savings in both footprint and civil works.
The quality of the product is guaranteed by water jet precision cutting of all parts and components together with more than 30 years of experience in manufacturing lamella clarifiers and shipping them to sites all over the world.
Efficient use of space
The sedimentation area consists of densely placed lamella plates, in a 55° angle to ensure that the settled solids will slide off and down into the sludge zone.
The horizontal projections of the lamella plates overlap each other, creating a much bigger settling area compared to conventional sedimentation basins. The result is up to 20 times bigger settling area and a chance to save up to 50 % in investments costs.
